How to Play

Each level gives you several bottles filled with different layers of colored water. Your goal is to sort those colors so that matching colors end up together.

To make a move, select the bottle you want to pour from and then select the bottle where you want the water to go. The water can only be poured when the move follows the game's rules.

In general, you can pour water into an empty bottle or onto water of the same color, as long as there is enough room in the receiving bottle. You cannot place one color directly on top of a different color.

The number of available bottles and the arrangement of the colors change as you progress. Early puzzles give you plenty of room to experiment, while later levels require more planning. A move that seems harmless can sometimes block a color you need a few turns later, so it pays to look at the whole board before pouring.

If you reach a position that cannot be solved comfortably, you can restart the level and try a different approach.

Why the Later Levels Are More Difficult

The basic rules do not change much, but the puzzles become harder because you have less room for careless moves. More colors and more complicated bottle arrangements mean that it becomes important to manage empty bottles carefully.

Sometimes the best move is not the one that immediately puts two matching colors together. You may need to move a color out of the way first, create an empty bottle, and then return to the original color later.

That is where most of the puzzle-solving comes from. Once you stop looking at individual pours and start thinking about the entire arrangement, the levels become much easier to read.
