Carrom Board - Multiplayer (2 and 4 Players) Game | Play Online With Friends

Carrom Board is a realistic online multiplayer carrom game featuring 1v1 and 2v2 matches, authentic physics, traditional rules, responsive controls, and support for desktop and mobile devices.

2 and 4 Players Carrom Game

Carrom Board is a classic tabletop game that has been enjoyed for generations, especially across India and South Asia. The goal is simple to understand but surprisingly challenging to master: use the striker to pocket your coloured coins before your opponent while following the traditional rules of carrom.

This version recreates the feel of playing on a real carrom board, whether you're challenging a friend online or competing in a doubles match. The controls are responsive, the physics are carefully tuned, and every shot rewards good aim, smart positioning, and precise timing.

Whether you're already familiar with the game or trying it for the first time, you'll find an experience that stays close to the real board without adding unnecessary complications.

Game Modes

Choose between two different ways to play.

1 vs 1

A classic head-to-head match where two players compete from opposite sides of the board. Each player takes turns attempting to pocket their own coins while keeping control of the striker and planning the next shot.

2 vs 2 Doubles

Team up with a partner and play against another pair. Partners sit opposite each other, and turns rotate clockwise around the board. Everything that matters—including pocketed coins, fouls, Queen completion, and victory—is shared by the team.

If one teammate pockets the Queen, either player can successfully cover it on the following shot. Extra turns always stay with the player who earned them rather than passing to their partner.

Rules

The game follows familiar carrom rules used in competitive and casual play.

  • Pocket one of your own coins to earn another turn.
  • If you accidentally pocket an opponent's coin, it counts for them.
  • The Queen must be covered on the same turn or the very next team turn after it is pocketed.
  • Pocketing the striker is a foul and returns one of your team's coins to the board whenever possible.
  • Pocketing your final coin before the Queen has been successfully completed is treated as a foul.
  • A team wins by clearing all nine of its coins while correctly resolving the Queen.
  • Online matches include turn timers, timeouts, and a maximum turn limit to prevent games from running indefinitely.

How to Play

Start each turn by placing the striker anywhere along your baseline. Once it's positioned, drag from any direction around the striker to aim and adjust the power of your shot. Releasing launches the striker exactly in the direction you've lined up.

Since aiming and striker placement use separate controls, you never have to fight the interface. You can pull back from the front, side, or below the striker and the shot will always travel where you're aiming.

Success comes from more than simply pocketing coins. Planning angles, controlling rebound shots, protecting the Queen, and setting up future turns are all part of good carrom strategy.

Controls

  • Move the striker: Use the slider below the board. Keyboard: Left Arrow and Right Arrow.
  • Aim and adjust power: Click or touch anywhere, then drag away from the striker.
  • Take the shot: Release the pointer.
  • Cancel aiming: Esc
  • Quick straight shot: Hold Space, then release.
  • Pause: P
  • Debug overlay: F3
  • Realistic Physics

One of the standout features of this version is its realistic board physics. The playing surface uses the dimensions of an actual 29-inch carrom board, with coin sizes, striker weight, friction, and collision behaviour all based on real-world measurements.

Shots slow down naturally because of board friction, heavier and lighter pieces behave as expected, and rebounds feel believable without becoming unpredictable. Collision handling also reduces clipping and tunnelling, helping fast shots stay accurate even during intense exchanges.

The result is a game that rewards careful positioning, controlled power, and consistent practice rather than relying on exaggerated arcade mechanics.

    Play on Any Device

The game works smoothly on desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones in both portrait and landscape orientation.

Mouse, touch, and pen input are all supported, and the board automatically scales to fit your screen without changing gameplay or physics. Online matches also rotate the board for players sitting on the opposite side, ensuring your baseline always appears at the bottom of the screen for a comfortable playing experience.
